Cristi Iftime was born in Iaşi, in 1979. After working as a photographer, he completed his studies in film directing at the National University of Drama and Film I. L. Caragiale (UNATC), Bucharest. His graduation short film July 15 (2011), was selected for competition at the Berlin Festival, 2011 and was awarded the Timishort Trophy at last year’s edition. His master’s short film Camp Răzoare, was selected for the Cinefondation section of Cannes, 2012

 

Radu Jude was born April 7, 1977, in Bucharest. He graduated from the Faculty of Film, the Filmmaking Department, in 2003. He is a director and a screenwriter. His activity includes projects in television, more than 100 commercials that he has directed, as well as short films awarded in prestigious international festivals. In 2009, Jude made his feature film debut with The Happiest Girl in the World, followed by A Film for Friends (medium format, 2010) and Everybody in Our Family (2012).

 

Elad Keidan was born in 1979 in Haifa, Israel and is a film-maker, screenwriter and director. He graduated from Sam Spiegel Film School in Jerusalem in 2008. His graduation film, Anthem/Himnon (2008) won numerous awards at international festivals, most notably the Grand Prix at Cannes in 2008 Cinefondation section. The film won the 2009 NexT Film Festival Trophy in Bucharest, the second prize at the International Film Festival of San Sebastian, as well as awards of the Gerasimov Film Institution and the National Film School in Łódź. He had worked on Israeli television, writing satire shows and at the news. He now studies Film and Humanities at the Tel-Aviv University and is about to start filming his first feature.

 

 

Born in Lisbon, Portugal, in 1989, Ana David works at Queer Lisboa - Lisbon Gay and Lesbian Film Festival and is finishing her degree in Communication Sciences. Co-director since 2010, she has been working on the production, sponsorship acquisition and communication fields and has been recently appointed as short film programmer. Krzysztof Sienkiewicz, an independent film-maker, is an energetic promoter of Polish culture (known as Podlasie Makes Me Happy and Hermanos de Chamuco on social and cultural media sites.) He is an organizer and coordinator of Film Podlasie in Attack!, a project that helps promote independent films and film-makers from the Podlachian region of Poland. He works for the Bialystok Cultural Center that runs and organizes festivals such as the ZubrOFFka International Short Film Festival and the Underground/Independent Festival. He is co-organizer and tutor of several film workshops and youth exchange programs with Ukraine, The Czech Republic, Georgia and Poland.  Additionally, he is the co-author of the first Polish independent animation film Goście, czyli na wschodnich bezdrożach/Visitors on the Eastern Rocky Roads (2009) and the independent documentary film Tandemem przez pogranicze/Tandem in Borderland (2012).
